My 2019 NYC Summer Bucket List
If you’ve read any of my posts (or talked to me ever), you know that NYC is my favorite place in the world and I will argue that point with anyone, ha. But NYC in the summer really is something extra special.
The city’s workforce is buzzing with excitement about summer Fridays, the rooftops are filled with delicious cocktails and drunken tourists and locals alike, and the beaches are packed with all the New Yorkers who have been Vitamin D deficient since the last summer. Many locals and families leave New York in the summer. I, on the other hand, love being able to explore in the warmth and try to spend as much time in this city between May and September as I possibly can.
Every summer there are a million things I want to do and see and taste but I never seem to get around to it all. This is my 6th summer in NYC and there are still so many things I want to do, so I’ve decided to finally document them all into a summer bucket list. Hopefully by the end of summer I will have been able to check them all off and can tell you what is worth it, what you can skip and what I plan to make a summer tradition. Look out for that post in a few months. In the meantime, check out the list below and if you want to adventure with me on any of them, drop me a note. The more the merrier! Ps. 27 things on the list because I’m 27!
